So let’s be honest 2020 has been pretty rubbish, we all know that. With only a couple of months left 2021 can’t come too soon!
How good will it be, well I wish I had a crystal ball, a phone booth, a DeLorean or a Time And Relative Dimensions In Space machine to tell you, but unfortunately none of them have been created yet, with time travelling ability.
What I will say is I’ve been busy writing and creating new ideas and stories, lock-down helped, spending time with my family was obviously more important!
So where am I at?
First up is the final Black Hearts book set in the Golden Age of Piracy.
A Thieves Curse
The King’s Pardon was the beginning of the end for the Golden Age. Those that refused it were hunted. The ones who accepted it: A full pardon. For Nathan Caruso he was no longer in the West Indies, retiring to London with Alice Selwyn, hoping to give up on his old life. But one moment can change everything. After saving his friend Hamish McLeod from the gallows, it’s time to return to where all begun, facing old foes and new, to finally stop A THIEVES CURSE!
Then next up in ‘The Wonderous World of Beyondaland’ trilogy is the second book:
Ashley Knight Beyond the Storm of Certain Death
After saving Grimmorld, Ashley must now travel the Never-ending Sea and past the Storm of Certain death to the land of B’Coz. Where he may finally get home, but this Ashley, with this teenager nothing goes smoothly.
And then hopefully round of the year with the latest Ham Spayde novella (which could end up being Spayde’s first novel).
Porcelaintown
Set around six years after Animals With Dirty Faces and not long after the end of the second Great War. Spayde will find himself involved in a turf war between the hard to refuse Hogfather and the less savoury characters of Ham Flancisco’s Porcelaintown!
Three books finished in one year? Well I’ll give it a go!
