I’m a London-based author writing fiction that blends humour, adventure, and dark intrigue.

I created the Ham Spayde Mysteries, a noir series featuring a hardboiled pig private investigator navigating a world of crime, eccentric characters, and questionable puns.

I’ve also written the Blackhearts Trilogy, a swashbuckling historical adventure series set during the golden age of piracy, where history collides with myth and legend.

Then there’s The Wonderous World of Beyondaland, a fantastical journey through strange and magical realms — for younger readers and those still young at heart (aren’t we all?).

My latest stories are set in the fictional Victorian district of Blackmere, where gothic-tinged murder mysteries unfold beneath the shadows of London’s past.

I draw inspiration from the city’s layered history, its hidden corners, and the idea that every place has a secret if you look closely enough.

When I’m not writing, I spend time with my wife and son — though I’m usually plotting the next story… and the one after that.
